Country Rock / Southern Rock / Classic Rock
About The Players:
Craig Rabuck - Drums / Percussion - A native of Anne Arundel county and now resides in Calvert County. Influenced by Danny Seraphine of Chicago, Bobby Columby of Blood Sweat And Tears and Simon Kirke of Bad Company. Presently studies with Simon Kirke in New York City when Simon's not on tour with Bad Company and with Grant Menefee at Grant Menefee's School of Drumming in Catonsville. Craig plays Gretsch Drums with a combination of Zildjian and Paiste Cymbals. Craig uses a Sennheiser e902 mike on his bass drum with Audio Technica mikes on his snare and toms.
Ron Routzahn – Guitar / Vocals – Ron’s guitar style is influenced by artists: Gary Rossington, Curtis Mayfield, Mick Ralphs and Danny Gatton. His approach to the guitar is more “old school” concentrating more on feeling and tone rather than speed. His harmonic guitar solos will keep you on the dance floor or on the edge of your seat wondering, “What’s he going to do next?” Ron left Quick Change in 1993 and rejoined the group in 2010 with original members Craig and Steve.
Craig introduced Ron to rock guitar icon, Mick Ralphs (Mott the Hoople, Bad Company) through a mutual friend, Simon Kirke (Free, Bad Company) at a live concert in Frederick, Md. Ron said,” Mick is still an inspiration to me. He is such a phenomenal guitarist. It was exciting to meet and talk with Mick and Simon in person. They are both really down to earth guys and made me feel welcome. It was really something to remember”.
Ron’s guitars include a PRS Special and a Gibson Les Paul played through modified Mesa/Boogie amplifiers.

bass guitar as "Rusty Nail" with film maker John Waters. He played bass
guitar for Ronnie Dove for a few years in the early 90's.
Rusty met Quick Change bassist Steve Buchholz in the late 70's and they formed a
duo that performed in the greater Anne Arundel County area. They have been
stayed in touch with each other all these years. They played again in the
80's with the popular Baltimore band "Past Time" and enjoyed packed houses
everywhere they appeared.
For the last 10 years, Rusty has been playing guitar for "Paradise", an
extremely successful and popular private affairs band. He happily joined
Quick Change in the summer of 2010 when Steve invited him down to meet Craig and
Ron. The combination of the four musicians abilities and their similar
"down-to-earth" approach to performing for audiences with an emphasis on playing
classy music made a magical group and, they knew they had something special.
In "Quick Change", Rusty sings lead and harmony vocals (his first passion),
supports Ron's lead guitar with tight rhythm playing and plays piano and organ.
Rusty is fairly new to country music and is enjoying the experience very much.
His personal loves are 70's pop Top-40 music, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Bruce
Springsteen, and British Invasion music of all kinds.
Rusty looks forward to seeing you soon at a Quick Change appearance
soon.....Please come up and say hello !!!
